I am a Digital Content Editor and Copywriter based in London, with 7+ years experience within an editorial field covering fashion, retail, design, beauty and lifestyle. Whilst my title reads Digital, I work with brands to develop their content strategy across multiple marketing platforms including digital, social, print and experiential. In my spare time, I am the Fashion Editor of independent London culture site WJ London, covering London Fashion Week and London Fashion Week Mens on a seasonal basis.
At heart, I am first-and-foremost a storyteller, and am dedicated to helping brands connect with their audience at every touchpoint to deliver a compelling message. I am always looking for new ways in which to so, whether that’s in pushing the boundaries of digital display, art directing commercial shoots or through developing a brand tone of voice that’s instantly recognisable and able to put a smile on someone’s face. From kick-starting disruptive start-up companies to rebranding established British brands, I have been instrumental in leading the strategy to create profitable content and a tone of voice that has always stood apart from the crowd due to its wit, humour, intelligence and relatability to modern life. Whilst there is a job to be done - and sometimes a less than inspiring message to be told - I believe there is always a way to tell the story to customers and readers in a captivating and non-traditional way.
I'm driven by achieving measurable results, whether that’s in the day to day management of brand social media channels and influencer relations, or over longer term projects, such as seasonal campaigns and strategic planning to change public perceptions. I have a proven track record of working with brands to increase their digital output. Case studies include triple digit growth of the Kite Eyewear’s Instagram over 6 months, increasing Warehouse email open rates by 5% vs LY, and increasing Warehouse and New Look blog traffic by 500% and 450% per post respectively.
My work, both written and styling, has been featured across brands and publications including Kite Eyewear, Warehouse, New Look, WJ London, Grazia, Stylist, Refinery29, Sheerluxe, Urbanologie, The Guardian, Vogue Italia, Noctis Magazine, Pigeons and Peacocks Magazine and XO Magazine. My fashion week reports have been commended by featured designers including Matthew Miller, Oliver Spencer and Pam Hogg.
